Michael Scordino MCSI
Chief Executive
Michael is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a seasoned CEO and strategist with over 30 years’ experience leading operational turnarounds, driving transformative change, and improving performance across multiple sectors.
His background spans construction, mining, housebuilding, engineering, hospitality, FMCG, and automotive, with deep expertise in technology-led businesses including VR, AR, AI, fintech, media, entertainment, events, and IT. He brings strong commercial understanding of intellectual property strategy, monetisation, digital transformation, and transitioning businesses to scalable online models.
Michael has worked closely with private equity, wealth funds, family offices, and HNWIs to create value through portfolio optimisation, M&A integration, bolt-on acquisitions, and post-acquisition restructuring.
He has led cross-border initiatives and business transformations across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and China, building B2B and B2C platforms and forming strategic partnerships, including collaboration with the Chinese Government. He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the City of Long Beach, California, for his role in the twinning initiative with Qingdao, China.
He is fluent in Italian.
Geraint Howells
CFO
Geraint Howells is a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years’ experience as a partner in a top 20 practice before founding his own firm in 2010.
He advises clients in the media, entertainment, and intellectual property sectors on cash management, employee incentive structures, and IP valuation. His experience includes guiding £10m+ businesses through AIM listings, conducting financial and operational due diligence, negotiating acquisitions, and providing expert witness evidence.
Geraint also designs and implements robust internal systems and works closely with directors to steer businesses confidently through periods of growth and change.
Tony Evans
Management Team - Operational Improvement
Tony brings over 20 years’ experience operating internationally at interim CEO level, leading complex turnarounds and transformational change across diverse industries, ownership structures, geographies, and business conditions.
He has led organisations of up to 10,000 employees and $0.5BN in fixed assets, often stepping into situations with severe cash constraints. Over his interim career, he has generated more than $940M in client value (excluding balance sheet NAV), with an average of $67M added per assignment in his post-corporate career.
His track record includes integrating three acquisitions, turning around three joint ventures, leading eight business sales, delivering ten major restructuring programmes, securing two high-value soft-landing administrations benefiting creditors and shareholders, and successfully representing a national government at International Tribunal.
Tony operates through strong team alignment and empowerment, stabilising businesses quickly and positioning them to execute clear, disciplined strategy. He is particularly effective in cross-border, multicultural environments where adaptability and strategic agility are critical.
A graduate scientist, Tony is a fully accredited member and current Co-Chair of the UK’s Institute of Interim Management, and was elected Companion in 2011 for services to the industry. He currently holds four chairmanships and serves as a Non-Executive Director to a fintech start-up.
Lance L. Young
Management Team - Media & Entertainment
Lance Young is a media/entertainment consultant and advisor. He has most recently advised or worked with GTCR, Guggenheim, Imagi, CitiGroup, Beijing Film Studio, DreamWorks Animation, Starz Animation, and Cinemalogical LLC. From 1999-2008, Mr. Young was Head of Creative Affairs and Production for DreamWorks Animation. At DreamWorks, Mr. Young maintained oversight in development and production of films from inception through release. During his tenure DreamWorks released 8 films including Shrek, Shrek II, Shark Tale, Shrek the Third, Bee Movie, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar, and How To Train Your Dragon. Mr. Young currently lectures worldwide in the area of 3-D Technology and Production. He also is a commercial director and producer and produces programming for the Sportsman Channel. Mr. Young graduated from Harvard Business School and the USC Cinema/Television program where he subsequently taught as a professor in the Peter Stark Program. Fluent in French and Spanish.
Michel Schwarz
Advisory Team - Retail and Supply Chain Management
Michel is a highly experienced retail and brands expert with more than 25 years of experience in this sector, with expertise in retail strategy, retail trading formula, connected stores, omni-channel strategy, commercial due diligence, assortment structuring and in-season management, supply chain management, brand positioning, retail performance improvement and interim management.
He has advised numerous Private Equity investors and major retail groups. Formerly Director with Kurt Salmon and Management Horizons, he was also a director of various fashion brands. Michel is the founder and Managing Partner at Retail Transformation.
Graeme Strommen
Advisory Team - Banking and Financial Services
Graeme is a highly experienced international financier with a 40-year career at HSBC. During this time, he established and led the bank’s Global Middle Market Financial Sponsors Group, managing a team of more than 120 leveraged finance professionals across North America, Europe, and Asia.
He has built an extensive network spanning regional and global mid-market private equity funds across multiple jurisdictions.
Graeme specialises in M&A financing solutions across a broad range of sectors, with deep expertise in credit risk, portfolio management, and balance sheet restructuring. He previously held responsibility for assets under management of approximately US$20bn globally.
Joyce Irvine
Advisory Team - Media & Entertainment
Joyce Irvine has built a distinguished career in the entertainment industry across theatre, film, and publishing.
She began as a theatre actress in the UK, performing nationwide and in London’s West End, and went on to write and direct several plays. After relocating to Los Angeles, she transitioned into film development, working as a consultant and script doctor for independent production companies and talent agencies.
For eight years, she was with William Morris Agency in Los Angeles, where she evaluated books and scripts for adaptation. During her time there, she contributed at the development stage of major film and television projects including The Perfect Storm, K-PAX, John Adams, Dexter, and Game of Thrones.
Now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Joyce records audiobooks — including Sun of Suns by Karl Schroeder — and works as a book and screenplay editor, as well as a writing coach. She also teaches presentation skills to actors, politicians, and corporate professionals, including IT teams at companies such as Cisco.
While her experience spans multiple disciplines, her core focus remains writing and performance.
Peter Bullard
Management Team - Operational Improvement
Peter is an accomplished CEO with an exceptional track record of achievement in the media and entertainment business. He has over 20 years experience at the highest level working with two of the world’s biggest global media companies. He has particular expertise in digital distribution, content development, mobile services, channel launches and transformation and turnaround work, and with more than 15 years spent living overseas, has great cross cultural experience and sensitivity, most notably in the Asia-Pacific region. With an aggressive approach to driving both top and bottom line, Peter also likes to place strong emphasis on developing talent and teamwork, with a focus on overcoming internal barriers and resolving conflicts that so often stifle growth.
Robin Tutty

A corporate lawyer who headed the business recovery and insolvency groups in two leading City law firms. Robin now uses his extensive experience spanning over thirty years to assist and advise companies and stakeholders in devising effective strategies to emerge from financial stress and protect against insolvency risks.
Danilo La Farciola
Advisory - Italy
Danilo is a project manager at a major Italian construction company, overseeing large-scale private and public infrastructure projects, as well as real estate investment opportunities in strategic markets.
He combines strong analytical capability with a pragmatic and creative approach to problem-solving. Danilo studied Business Management at University of Mannheim, where he was a member of the Mannheim Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
He also holds a Master’s degree in Law from University of Macerata, specialising in international trade law.
Freddie Scordino
Digital Media & Technology
Freddie recently graduated from Cardiff University with an LLB in Law and is now pursuing qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales. His interests focus on media and technology law, digital currency, crypto fraud, money laundering, and cross-border transactions.
He has gained early professional experience through internships at the international law firm McDermott, Will & Emery LLP and London-based Preiskel & Co LLP, developing exposure to complex legal and regulatory matters.
Freddie brings a fresh perspective to Postern as he continues to build his expertise at the intersection of law, technology, and investment.
Uriel Ekstein
Advisory Team - Israel
Uriel brings extensive experience in private banking, fintech innovation, and venture building. He began his career as a private banker and licensed financial advisor at Bank Leumi and Julius Baer, developing strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, wealth funds, and institutional investors.
Recognising the growing role of technology in finance, he later focused on sourcing emerging technologies for leading banks, identifying solutions to complex technological challenges and connecting them with the startup ecosystem.
In 2021, Uriel co-founded Velotix, a data security platform. He holds a degree in Business Administration from IDC Herzliya and has completed Private Equity and Venture Capital programmes at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and Bocconi University.
His expertise in innovation strategy and business development places him at the forefront of digital transformation, delivering strategic value to both enterprises and startups.
