Michael Scordino MCSI  —  Chief Executive

Michael is a Chartered MCSI-qualified CEO, strategist and deal-maker with over 30 years of experience in M&A, capital raising and business transformation. He founded Postern Equity Partners in 2008 and has since led mandates across defence, fintech, cybersecurity, deep-tech, media and industrial sectors.

His track record includes raising over $100M for a media fund, a $66M capital raise for a Microsoft Xbox LIVE spinout, a £7M Series A for a FinTech platform, and advisory roles on Israeli deep-tech VC fundraising and cross-border defence transactions. He has led transformational change at businesses ranging from £150M events platforms to £500M engineering groups.

Michael has operated across the UK, Continental Europe, Israel, MENA, North America and China, and brings particular expertise in cross-border transactions in sectors where regulatory and geopolitical complexity is high. He holds triple citizenship — UK, Malta and USA — and is fluent in Italian with working Arabic.

Geraint Howells  —  CFO

Geraint is a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years as a partner in a top-20 practice before founding his own firm in 2010. He advises on cash management, IP valuation, employee incentive structures and financial due diligence, with particular expertise in media, entertainment and intellectual property sectors. His experience includes guiding £10M+ businesses through AIM listings and acting as expert witness in complex financial disputes.

Tony Evans  —  Operational Improvement

Tony brings over 20 years of international interim CEO experience, leading complex turnarounds and transformational change across diverse industries and geographies. Over his interim career he has generated more than $940M in client value, with an average of $67M per assignment. He has led organisations of up to 10,000 employees, integrated three acquisitions, delivered ten major restructuring programmes, and secured two high-value administrations benefiting creditors and shareholders. Tony is a fully accredited member and Co-Chair of the UK's Institute of Interim Management.


Lance L. Young  —  Media & Entertainment

Lance is a media and entertainment advisor who served as Head of Creative Affairs and Production at DreamWorks Animation from 1999 to 2008, overseeing films including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and How to Train Your Dragon. He has since advised GTCR, Guggenheim, CitiGroup, Beijing Film Studio and DreamWorks Animation. A Harvard Business School graduate, Lance lectures internationally on 3D technology and production.

Michel Schwarz

Advisory Team - Retail and Supply Chain Management

Michel is a highly experienced retail and brands expert with more than 25 years of experience in this sector, with expertise in retail strategy, retail trading formula, connected stores, omni-channel strategy, commercial due diligence, assortment structuring and in-season management, supply chain management, brand positioning, retail performance improvement and interim management.

He has advised numerous Private Equity investors and major retail groups. Formerly Director with Kurt Salmon and Management Horizons, he was also a director of various fashion brands. Michel is the founder and Managing Partner at Retail Transformation.

Graeme Strommen  —  Banking & Financial Services

Graeme is a highly experienced international financier with a 40-year career at HSBC, where he established and led the bank's Global Middle Market Financial Sponsors Group — managing a team of over 120 leveraged finance professionals across North America, Europe and Asia. He previously held responsibility for assets under management of approximately US$20bn globally and brings an unrivalled network across regional and global mid-market private equity.


Joyce Irvine — Advisory Team, Media & Entertainment

Joyce brings over three decades of experience across theatre, film development, publishing and media, with a career spanning the UK, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.

For eight years she was with William Morris Agency in Los Angeles, where she evaluated books and scripts for adaptation and contributed at development stage to major film and television productions including The Perfect Storm, K-PAX, John Adams, Dexter and Game of Thrones. Prior to WMA, she worked as a consultant and script doctor for independent production companies and talent agencies across Los Angeles.

A theatre actress by training, Joyce performed extensively across the UK and in London's West End before transitioning into writing and directing, and subsequently into film development. She now works as a book and screenplay editor and writing coach, and records audiobooks for publication. She also teaches presentation skills to a broad range of clients including actors, politicians and corporate professionals at firms such as Cisco.

Her expertise spans creative development, script evaluation, narrative structuring and performance — making her a distinctive addition to Postern's media and entertainment advisory capability.

Peter Bullard

Management Team - Operational Improvement

Peter is an accomplished CEO with an exceptional track record of achievement in the media and entertainment business. He has over 20 years experience at the highest level working with two of the world’s biggest global media companies. He has particular expertise in digital distribution, content development, mobile services, channel launches and transformation and turnaround work, and with more than 15 years spent living overseas, has great cross cultural experience and sensitivity, most notably in the Asia-Pacific region. With an aggressive approach to driving both top and bottom line, Peter also likes to place strong emphasis on developing talent and teamwork, with a focus on overcoming internal barriers and resolving conflicts that so often stifle growth.

Robin Tutty  —  Restructuring Advisory

A corporate lawyer who headed the business recovery and insolvency groups at two leading City law firms. Robin now uses over 30 years of experience to advise companies and stakeholders on strategies to emerge from financial stress and protect against insolvency risk.


Danilo La Farciola

Advisory - Italy

Danilo is a project manager at a major Italian construction company, overseeing large-scale private and public infrastructure projects, as well as real estate investment opportunities in strategic markets.

He combines strong analytical capability with a pragmatic and creative approach to problem-solving. Danilo studied Business Management at University of Mannheim, where he was a member of the Mannheim Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

He also holds a Master’s degree in Law from University of Macerata, specialising in international trade law.

Freddie Scordino  —  Digital, Media & Technology Law

Freddie holds an LLB in Law from Cardiff University and is pursuing qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales, with a focus on media and technology law, digital currency, crypto fraud and cross-border transactions. He has gained early professional experience at McDermott, Will & Emery LLP and Preiskel & Co LLP and is now working in Austarlia

Uriel Ekstein  —  Israel Advisory

Uriel brings a unique combination of private banking expertise, venture ecosystem knowledge, and operating experience. He spent 7 years in private banking at Bank Leumi and Julius Baer, managing HNWI and family office relationships, followed by advising on fintech innovation to global financial institutions. After this, he co-founded Velotix, an AI-driven data security platform, where he led business development, enterprise partnerships, and investor relations through multiple funding rounds. Multilingual (English, French, Hebrew, Dutch), Uriel brings deep networks across Israeli and international VCs, founders, and institutional investors.
